Xerox provides several ways to assist you. VIPP is a very powerful language and it does require some knowledge of how it works. You question is too open ended to provide you too much assistance through the forum.

I would suggest you start by contacting your local Xerox analyst and finding out what available training is available in your area. Xerox does provide classroom training, also training by the analysts or by local support teams.

Also for a very raw start the VI Interpreter User Guide as a section with some basic examples.
