How can i use a font non included in vipp?
For example I have a font1.ps o a font2.fnt and i need to use it. How can i implement it???? Thanks Mónica |

You can encode a font from within the job. You just have to make sure the font resource is in with the rest of the job resources or in a directory that you have defined.
[/The font name you want here (Name of font.pfb) ] (encoding table to use) SETENCODING Then you would just reference the font by the font name you designate. *This will only work with PostScript fonts* Hope that helped!! Just Some Guy |

This also works with Bitmap fonts not just PostScript, I convert TrueType and OpenType to either of the following:
Xerox Font (*.fnt) AFP Font (*.cf, *.cs) LaserJet Font (*.fnh) PostScript Font (*.fnp) Xerox XES/DSBU Font (*.fnx) The most common that I use are fnt and fnp. Although these can look awful if you increase the font size too far, but for normal 6-50 point, these look fine. |
